Ingredients

  • 2 slices of pork ribs, cut into small ribs
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • BBQ rub

Instructions

  • Set your grill for indirect grilling or 2-zone cooking and aim for a grill temperature of 107°C(225°F).
  • Place the baby back ribs in the indirect area, bone size down.
  • Cook continuously for 3 hours on low and slow heat.
  • Remove the ribs from the grill and wrap in foil. Do this by placing the baby back ribs, bone side down, in aluminum foil and forming a pouch. Pour ½ cup apple cider into the foil and over the ribs. Seal the bag tightly and place it back on the grill away from the flames. Cook for another hour.
  • After an hour, remove the wrapped baby back ribs from the grill. Unwrap the baby back ribs and remove them from the foil pouch. Using a grill brush, brush the BBQ sauce over the ribs. Apply liberally to all sides of the ribs.
  • Place the short ribs back on the grill, not in the foil bag this time. However, place on the indirect area of ​​the grill, away from direct heat. Cook for another 30 minutes. The sauce should cake slightly on the baby back ribs.
  • After 30 minutes, transfer the ribs to the direct zone. Brown for about 30 seconds. Therefore, the short ribs should be slightly crispy.
