Ribs, ribs, blacksmith ribs. One of our all-time favorite barbecue staples. They’re amazing fresh off the grill, but trying to recapture that original grilled flavor in leftovers can be a struggle. Fear no more with our 5 easy steps to grilling heaven: How to Reheat Ribs.
How to reheat ribs in the oven
The oven is one of the most effective ways to reheat ribs without losing their flavor. It’s also great when you want to preheat large batches of ribs.
Require…
- Lake
- 1 baking sheet
- BBQ sauce (you can make your own homemade BBQ sauce )
Step 1
Preheat oven to 121 degrees Celsius or 250 degrees Fahrenheit. The low temperature prevents the ribs from overcooking, shrinking and becoming tough. It’s no fun eating shrunken, chewy meat, is it?
Step 2
If necessary, defrost ribs. Brush the meaty part of the ribs on all sides with the barbecue sauce.
Step 3
Missing two layers of aluminum foil, then wrap it around the remaining ribs. If you didn’t spread sauce on the ribs, add 1/4 cup of water, broth, broth, or wine to the chunks once they’re wrapped. This will prevent the ribs from drying out as they reheat.
Step 4
Arrange the ribs on the baking sheet and place in the oven. Let them warm up for about an hour.
Step 5
Now remove the foil from your hot ribs and set the oven to “Roast”. Let the pieces rest in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Be sure to leave the oven door open on one side to prevent the oven thermostat from turning off. Let the ribs rest for five minutes before serving.
